We are a London based design studio providing architectural services to the high end residential market. Headed up by Raimundo Torres, with a reputation for our exceptional commitment and for the long-lasting relationships we build. With a breadth of experience in challenging and prestigious projects, we are recognised for our innovative design and passion for detail.

Raimundo Torres

Founder and Director

Hailing from Venezuela and a graduate of the Central University of Venezuela, Ray spent years honing his skills at a prestigious architectural firm in London before deciding to start his own practice in 2019. Known for his amiable demeaner and unwavering commitment, Ray is fuelled by his passion for creating exceptional architecture and excelling under tight deadlines.

Matthew James

Matthew James
Project Leader

Matthew, who holds a Master's Degree in Architecture and Sustainability from Leicester School of Architecture, brings a wealth of experience in design gained from working on various large-scale residential and commercial projects in London and the South-East. He joined Rayca in 2022 as the Project Lead for high-end residential projects throughout London. Matthew is now a Chartered member of the Institute of Architectural Technologists, with a keen interest in merging innovative design and contemporary interiors with technical precision.

Lorenzo Cocchiola

Lorenzo Cocchiola
Senior Architectural Technician

Lorenzo, an Architectural Designer educated in architecture at the University of Florence, relocated to London in 2016. Since then, he has contributed to a variety of unique high-end residential and art installation projects. In 2022, Lorenzo joined the Rayca team, where he assists on multiple projects. He is fluent in both English and Italian languages.

Luis Marin

Luis Marin
Architectural Technologist

In 2023, Luis joined Rayca after working at a Structural Engineers firm in Reading. With a master's degree in architecture and sustainability from the Leicester School of Architecture, he now serves as an architectural technologist. Luis' proficiency in English and Spanish enhances his versatility and adds value to the team.

Marek Pieprzyk
Senior Architect Assistant

Marek is a Senior Architect Assistant at Rayca and is based in Poland. A graduate of Politechnica of Krakawska with over fifteen years of experience, he specializes in high-end residential and commercial projects.

Adriana Torres

Adriana Torres
Office Manager and Admin

Adriana, hailing from Venezuela, obtained her BA degree from the University of Carabobo. She is enthusiastic about traveling, shopping, styling interiors and socialising. Responsible for overseeing administration and office organization, she has been a valuable asset to our small team as well as a supportive partner to Ray in founding the company.

What we do

Rayca creates unique, effective and elegant designs for traditional and contemporary living spaces. We excel at interpreting our clients’ wishes, taking time to understand the flow and functionality of a space and taking into account the different needs of our clients.

We provide a personalised service to every client. Teamwork and integrity are critical on high end projects and we select the best designers and contractors who share our ethos. Together we work seamlessly to achieve successful delivery.
